This was a complete renovation of a derelict roof terrace. The open section was filled. The floor was tiled and tiles were used to cap the raised wall, glass balustrades surround the edges with sanded glass at the sides to prevent overlooking.
Planters are lightweight to avoid any weight issues. Plants include an Olive tree, Carex morowii - Irish green, rosemary and lavender.
Slightly heavier wooden tables and benches were used on the roof so it’s not to be blowing the wind. A low backed L shaped sofa was used so as not to prevent blockage of the views. Bold cushions were used as highlights.
